Description

No. 64 Castlegate is a house dating from the late 18th century, with changes made to its windows in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a pantile roof. The building has a first-floor sill band, a gutter supported by brackets, and coped gables. There are two gable stacks, one of which is shared with No. 66 to the left. The house has three storeys and a two-window range of segment-headed plain sashes. Above this, there are two smaller sashes. On the ground floor, there is a plain sash and a 20th-century door with an overlight, both of which are segment-headed.
