Description

The Green Bridge, located 400 meters southeast of Thoresby Hall, is an early 19th-century road bridge constructed of ashlar and cast iron. It features a single segmental arch supported by flanking pilasters, a moulded soffit, and a keystone. The bridge is complemented by a pair of curved, stepped flanking walls and a dentillated cornice. A cast iron balustrade adorns the structure, showcasing guilloche-work open piers and four double-size terminal piers with square ashlar bases.
