Description

The south lamp at the west gate of the Church of St. John in Perlethorpe cum Budby is a gas street lamp dating from around 1861. It is made of cast and sheet iron and stands on a rendered brick plinth. The lamp features a ringed round stem with an octagonal foot and an openwork octagonal lantern topped with a finial. The lantern is unglazed. This lamp is included in the listing for its group value.
