Description
Number 39 is a house dating from around 1800, which was restored and internally remodelled in 1989. It is constructed of brick and features a pantile roof, with stucco quoins and dentilled eaves. The house has two gable stacks and is two storeys high, plus garrets, arranged in an L-plan with a three-window range. The central section is blank and is flanked by single plain sash windows. There is a dummy central door with an overlight, also flanked by single sashes, all of which have rubbed brick heads. Each gable has a small casement window for the garret. Inside, the property includes a dogleg stair with stick balusters and a moulded handrail, as well as a single purlin roof. The exterior features wrought iron spearhead railings and a gate set on a stone plinth, with brick side walls topped with gabled wood coping.
