Description

This is a sundial located 150 meters south of Thoresby Hall, dating from the mid-18th century and created by Thomas Wright. It is made of ashlar stone and features a baluster stem with a moulded foot and head. The bronze dial is inscribed with the words 'Made by Thomas Wright Instrument Maker to His Majesty King George II'.
