Description

This is an early 19th-century framework knitter’s workshop located at Bridge Cottage on Hoveringham Road in Caythorpe. The building is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof and a single red brick stack on the right gable. It is a single-story, two-bay structure. The west front features a single six-panel sash window with glazing bars, alongside a single three-panel sash window to the right. A doorway is located in the left gable, and the rear wall has two three-panel sash windows with glazing bars, plus a 20th-century sash window to the right.
