Description
Cromwell House is a building that originally consisted of two houses but is now a single residence. It dates from the early 19th century and incorporates parts of a 17th-century timber-framed structure. The exterior is made of brick with stone dressings and features a pantile roof. The building has cogged eaves, a single ridge, and single gable stacks.
The windows are glazing bar sashes, with those on the ground floor featuring splayed lintels. The front of the house has four windows; the leftmost window is larger, and the third window from the left is blank. There is an off-centre wooden doorcase with a cornice, a six-panel door, and an overlight, flanked by single windows. To the right, there is a close boarded door with a blocked overlight. Inside, there is a single full-height stud wall with rendered nogging.
