Description

This sundial, dated 1718, is located in the churchyard, 11 metres south of the porch of the Church of Holy Trinity in Rolleston. It is made of ashlar with some lead components. The sundial features an octagonal shaft that stands 1 metre high. The top is square and has remnants of a lead sundial. The south side is inscribed with the words "Church Wardens," while the east side bears the date "1718." There are also other inscriptions that are now illegible.
