Description
Sunnyside is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof, along with two red brick gable stacks and a raised eaves band. The cottage is one and a half storeys high and has five bays, with the right two bays being part of the 19th-century extension. The 18th-century wing has a central doorway that includes a plank door and a trellis porch. On either side of this doorway are single glazing bar Yorkshire sash windows. To the right of the wing, there is another doorway with a plank door, followed by a single similar sash window. All ground floor openings are set under segmental arches. Above the right bay of the 18th-century wing, there is a single glazing bar Yorkshire sash window. At the rear of the cottage, there are lean-to extensions.
