Description
The round stable located 100 metres northeast of the stable block at Thoresby Hall is a circular stable block built in the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a gabled slate roof with a lead ridge. The building is single storey and has a circular plan that encloses a small yard. It consists of ten bays, with windows that are bottom-hinged casements set beneath timber lintels. There are also ten stable doors topped with segmental rubbed brick heads. Inside, the stable contains ten loose boxes and an annular feeding passage. Originally, there were fenced external pens surrounding the stable.
