GV II

Goods warehouse, now disused. c1875. Brick with blue and yellow brick and stone dressings and hipped slate roof, with single corner stack. Chamfered plinth, pilasters, brick modillion eaves with stone cornice. Blocked ground floor windows have round heads, second floor windows segmental ones. 2 storeys; 13 x 3 bays. Symmetrical front to yard has 15 windows, 4 of them paired and 3 blocked. Most are unglazed. Below, 3 pairs of double doors with iron lintels and brick cornices, separated by pairs of windows and flanked on either side by 3 windows. Left return has 4 cast iron glazing bar casements and below, a segment headed wagon entrance with 2 windows to its right. Right return has similar fenestration, opposite handed. Track side has remains of 3 hoists, the central gabled canopy remaining, separated by groups of 3 windows and flanked on either side by a further 3 windows. Below, 15 windows. Interior has steel truss roof.
