Description

A row of 17 headstones, located 2 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Mary of the Purification, dates from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. These headstones are made of ashlar and feature arched or decoratively shaped heads. Notably, the fourth headstone from the left has additional foliate decoration.
