Description

No. 8 Market Place is a house that has been converted into consulting rooms. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. It has first-floor and eaves bands and stands three storeys tall. The front has a single-window range, which includes a 12-pane sash window on the first floor and a 9-pane sash window above it. The ground floor features a full-width late 20th-century shop front, complete with a tiled surround and a plastic fascia.
