Description
Warren Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed from dressed stone with a pantile roof and ashlar dressings. It features first and second floor bands and rebated eaves, along with three gable stacks. The building is three storeys high and has three bays, designed in an L-plan.
The south front showcases a central ashlar door case with reeded curved brackets supporting a hood. This is accompanied by a 20th-century door with an overlight, flanked by single French windows with side lights. Above, there is a central 19th-century mullioned casement window, with single casements on either side. The uppermost level features another central 19th-century mullioned casement flanked by plain sash windows.
On the rear wing to the east, there is a 20th-century door with a hood and a large 20th-century casement window. Above this, to the left, are two small casement windows. The north front includes, on the left, two round-headed 20th-century casements. An addition to the right features a 20th-century door and casement. Above this section, to the left, are two casements with segmental heads, and to the right, two additional casements. The upper level again has, to the left, two glazing bar sashes.
