Description

Nettleworth Farmhouse, along with its adjoining stable block and boundary wall, is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from dressed stone, featuring a glazed pantile roof and stone slate verges. The building has a stone plinth and lintels, two gable stacks, and is two storeys tall with garrets, arranged in an L-plan with three bays.

The east front showcases a central doorcase with curved brackets supporting a hood, leading to a 19th-century half-glazed door, flanked by single sash windows. Above this door, there are three additional sashes. The north front includes two off-centre doors, with two casements to the left and a single-storey addition to the right that has a casement. Above are a barred casement and a blocked opening, with a sash window above that.

On the west front, there is a single-storey addition to the left with a coped gable. An off-centre 20th-century door is flanked by a sash window on the left and a casement on the right. Above, there is a casement and a sash, with another sash above that.

The south front features the adjoining stable block, which is a single storey with five bays and a coped gable. It has four slatted casements, with a door and a 20th-century casement to the right. Further to the right, there is a sash window flanked by a casement on the left and a blocked window on the right. Above this section, there are two sashes and a sash to the right.

Surrounding the property to the east is a dressed stone boundary wall with ramped slab coping, approximately 60 meters long. The wall includes two chamfered rusticated gate piers topped with concave domed caps.
