Description

A barn with adjoining farm buildings, dating to the early 19th century and the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of dressed stone with pantile and slate roofs, and have rebated brick eaves. Windows are 20th-century casements.

The barn, which is three bays wide, has a central pair of barn doors to the south. To the right of the barn doors is a small door. Above the barn doors are two casements. The east gable features a central door and a casement above, both with segmental heads. Seven roof vents are visible. The north side has blocked barn doors with an inserted segmental-headed door, two further roof vents, and a casement flanked by single doors with stone loading platforms. Above are four roof vents.

Adjoining the barn is a 12-bay cowshed with a stone wall and brick gables, incorporating a 19th-century timber framework and a queenpost roof. The east side has a large close-boarded door to the south. A stable is located to the north, spanning three, two, and three bays. A single rear wall stack is present. The south side of the stable features a two-storey section to the left, with a casement to the left, a slatted casement flanked by single doors, a door, a slatted casement, and two garage doors. Above are two slatted square openings.

A single-story range adjoins the stable to the right, with two casements to the left, a casement flanked by single stable doors, a door with an overlight, and two garage doors. The west gable features a brick and stone stair, a casement to the right, and a large central door above.
