Description
The Female Satyr statue, located 100 meters east of Newstead Abbey, is a Grade II listed structure from the early 18th century, likely created by John Nost. The statue is made of ashlar and lead and stands on a square pedestal that features fielded panelled sides, a moulded base, and a cornice. The female satyr figure is depicted holding a male infant and is approximately 2 meters high.
