Description
Hollinwood House and the attached outbuilding date from around 1800, with some additions made in the mid-19th century. The house is built of brick, mostly rendered, and features a pantile roof with two external gable stacks. It has two storeys plus garrets. The main front of the house includes a central doorway with a four-panel door and a large mid-19th century gabled porch supported by wooden piers. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, with two similar sash windows above. To the left, there is a single-storey outbuilding that has a single ridge stack, two plank doors, and a small 20th-century casement window. Inside the house, there are original spine beams, some four-panel doors, and a single original fireplace with a basket grate. The attic features stud partitions and the original roof structure.
