Description

This chest tomb, located 8 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St. James, dates from 1695 and is constructed from ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded base and corners, with panels on the long sides that have ornamented borders and crossed fleur de lys shafts. The ends of the tomb contain panels that display a stag's head and a rosette. The lid is incised and mostly illegible, but it is also dated 1695.
