Description
Mill House is a house built around 1830, with later 19th-century additions. It is primarily constructed of brick and rendered, topped with a hipped pantiled roof. The building features stone sills, dentillated eaves, one side wall, and two ridge stacks. It has two storeys and three bays, arranged in an L shape, with the entrance located at the inside angle.
The main south front includes, on the left, a four-panelled door set in a rendered architrave with a glazing bar overlight. To the right of the door is a single glazing bar sash, and above it are two additional glazing bar sashes. The adjacent east front has two glazing bar sashes, with the one on the right featuring a segmental head; above these are a single 19th-century and a single 20th-century casement window. To the left, there is a 19th-century extension that is one storey high and one bay wide, featuring a 20th-century door and a two-light casement window. The east gable has a single glazing bar sash on each floor. The rear elevations show a mix of 20th-century and 19th-century window styles.
