Description
This monument, located 2 meters north of the Church of Holy Trinity, was erected in 1814. It is made of ashlar stone and features a chamfered plinth. The structure has a square column with curved corner panels on each face and is topped with a cross-gabled cap that includes acroteria. The monument is enclosed by a chamfered square curb. The inscriptions on the monument include "Mary Evans, January 19th, 1814" on the south side, an illegible inscription on the west side that begins with "The Rev ..... Vicar of this," "Charlotte Evans, November 2, 1816" on the north side, and "Mary Ann Evans. June 29 ......" on the east side. It is presumed that the monument was erected by the Reverend Robert Evans, who served as vicar from 1803 to 1847.
