Description
The Pigeoncote at Manor Farm is a late 18th-century structure made of red brick with areas of render and ashlar. It features a 20th-century corrugated roof and has dentillated eaves. The gable end includes a dentillated cornice that creates a pediment. A flight of steps made of brick and stone leads to a first-floor doorway, which has a wooden door set beneath a segmental arch. In the pediment, there is an arched opening with a wooden panel that contains three pigeon holes. On the east front, there is a wooden slatted opening with a glazing bar overlight, also under a segmental arch. To the right, there are single-storey extensions made of brick and breeze block. Inside, there is a heavily moulded beam with squared-off bosses, likely from a demolished palace nearby.
