Description
The churchyard wall, gate piers, gates, and village pinfold in Scrooby date from the 18th century. The structure features dressed coursed rubble, ashlar, red brick, wrought iron, and wood. The wall extends 95 meters around the east and north sides of the churchyard, constructed of dressed coursed rubble with ashlar coping and some brick infill on the north side. To the east, there are a pair of ashlar piers with shaped coping and a double wrought iron gate. The north side includes a pair of small wooden piers and a double wooden gate. Projecting from the northwest is the village pinfold, made of dressed coursed rubble, extending 17 meters along its north and east sides, with a pair of wooden piers and a wooden gate located in the southeast corner.
