Description
Holmefield Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof featuring stone-coped gables, kneelers, two brick stacks, and dentillated eaves. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has a panelled door with an overlight, and it is flanked by single 20th-century casement windows. Above, there are two similar casements. To the right of the main house is a lower two-storey section with a single-storey projecting lean-to, which has a single bay wing made of red brick and a pantile roof, along with a single gable stack and dentillated eaves. This section features a single 20th-century casement window and a blocked doorway to the left. The left gable of the house once had a plaque, which is likely now located in the left gable of the adjacent barn.
