Description
Scrooby Methodist Church is a chapel built around 1829, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of brick that has been rendered and painted, topped with a hipped slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of three bays. At the center, there is a gabled porch featuring a double wooden door with an overlight beneath a segmental arch. On either side of the porch are single arched sash windows. To the left, there is a lower 20th-century extension made of painted brick, which includes a doorway with a part-glazed door. To the right, slightly set back, is a lower rendered wall with a coping, an arched doorway, and a wooden door. The church is included in the register for its group value.
