Description

Rookeries is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is rendered and features a slate roof with two rendered gable stacks and a raised eaves band. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central doorway has a 20th-century door and is flanked by single glazing bar Yorkshire sash windows. All ground floor openings are set under segmental arches, while above there are two additional glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. To the right, there is a rendered and slate lean-to extension, and at the rear, there are two-storey extensions. This building is included for its group value only.
