Description

Number 3 and the attached barn are a cottage and barn built in the early 19th century. The structure features dressed coursed rubble and pantile roofs, with two gable and one ridge red brick stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays, set on a plinth. The central doorway has a panelled door with a semi-circular overlight, surrounded by a flush ashlar quoin with slightly projecting imposts and a keystone. On either side of the door are single glazing bar sashes in wooden frames, with three glazing bar Yorkshire sashes above. All windows have flush splayed lintels and slightly projecting keystones. The barn, which is attached to the right, slightly projects and features a central arched doorway with large double wooden doors, and above it are two openings with wooden slats.
