Description
Nos 14 to 18 on Grove Street are three early 19th-century houses that stand three storeys tall, constructed from red brick with a pantile roof. They feature a wooden eaves cornice and have seven windows on the top floor, which are wooden casements with hung sashes and glazing bars. The first floor has later glazing, and the third bay from the left has a carved lower edge to the voussoirs, situated above a segmental carriage archway with brick voussoirs. On the ground floor, there are two windows to the left and one to the right of the carriage entry. The houses have two fluted doorways adorned with paterae and a flat hood, with doors that have six panels (four of which are glazed for No 14) and radiating fanlights. There is a central round-headed passage entry with a blocked radiating fanlight and a six-panel door, along with one window to the right. Nos 14 to 32 on Grove Street form a group.
