Description
No. 81 Carolgate is an early to mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from red brick with a slate roof and a wooden eaves cornice. The façade features four windows with painted stucco lintels, and the windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are four windows, two of which are blocked. The entrance includes a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight set within a moulded surround. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 71 and 73, which are recognized as buildings of local interest, along with Nos. 77 to 83 (odd).
