Description
39 and 41 Potter Street are two houses that have been converted into offices, built in the late 18th century. They feature a continuous roof and are constructed of brick with a colourwashed finish, topped by a 20th-century hipped pantile roof. The buildings have a brick plinth, a first-floor band, and dentillated eaves, with two ridge stacks and a single rear wall stack.
No. 39, on the left, showcases a central Classical doorcase with a glazing bar overlight, consoles, and a pediment, which contains a panelled door. This door is flanked by single plain sash windows. Above, there are three glazing bar sash windows. No. 41, on the right, has a plain doorcase with a blocked overlight and a concrete hood to the left, and it is flanked by four plain sash windows on the right. Above this door, there are five plain sash windows.
