Description
Grange Cottages is a row of six cottages built around 1790 by George Robinson for workers at his new cotton mill. The cottages are constructed of red brick and feature Welsh slate roofs with three brick ridge chimney stacks. They have a stone plinth and are designed in three pairs. Each pair has two larger windows flanked by two doorways, which are topped with gabled wooden porches and flanked by single smaller windows. Above the two larger windows, there are also single smaller windows. All the windows are 20th-century top-hung casements with segment brick heads.
