Description
The Rifle Range, built in 1897, is a Grade II listed structure located on South Street in Keelby. It is constructed of yellow brick with red brick dressings and terracotta details, featuring a concrete barrel vaulted roof. The main front is a single-storey square block with three bays, which includes a plinth, a moulded string course, and an embattled top adorned with terracotta copings. There are three contiguous blocked lancet windows with red brick heads and a continuous hood mould. To the left of the main block, there is a lower single-storey porch that has a planked door. The main range consists of yellow brick side walls topped with a continuous concrete barrel vault, which includes two metal ventilators. The building is listed for its group value only.
