Description

The Tiger Inn is an early 19th-century public house. It is constructed of painted brick and has three storeys. The front of the building has two windows on each floor, featuring hung sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with a rusticated lintel and keystone, with a band running along the cills. The ground floor contains a window of three lights, alongside a window of one light and a window of two lights; these also have similar lintels. The entrance has a stone lintel above a door of six fielded panels, complete with a rectangular fanlight. A basement opening is present. The building stands on a stone plinth. The Tiger Inn forms a group with numbers 27 and 29, which are of local interest.
