Description

The barn, waggon hovel, and pigeoncote at Ash Tree Farm date from the late 18th century and have had some alterations in the 20th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and feature pantile roofs. The buildings are arranged in an L-shape. The tall dovecote is connected to the barn by a lower waggon hovel. The waggon hovel has an inserted doorway and three breathers, and it is open-sided with brick piers. The dovecote includes brick ledges and flight holes in the gable end. This structure is listed for its group value only.
