Description
No. 6 Monson Road is a former coach house that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with red brick dressings and features a slate roof with two gable brick stacks. It has a two-storey, three-bay front that includes a dog tooth eaves course. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with a bordered light panel, flanked by single windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. All windows have brick reveals and segmental heads, and they are two-light cast iron casements with delicate Gothick tracery at the heads. The side walls are made of brick with dog tooth verges. To the left of the main structure is a lower range that includes four 20th-century windows, a rendered front, and a brick segmental carriage arch.
