Description

Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and has a pantile roof with stone-coped gables, gable stacks, and dentillated eaves. The two-story, three-bay front is characterised by a first-floor band. A central doorway features a pilastered doorcase, a rectangular overlight, and a panelled door, topped with a hood supported on two slender columns. Flanking the doorway are single glazing bar sashes on the ground floor, with three glazing bar sashes above, all windows having segmental heads. A low, two-bay 19th-century extension is located to the left, containing a doorway with a plain doorcase and a panelled door; to the left of the door is a three-light sliding sash window with a segmental head, and above it, a further three-light sliding sash window.
