Description

No 16 on Silver Street is a house that has been adapted for use as a shop. It dates from the late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with coped and tumbled gables, decorated eaves, and gable stacks. It is two storeys high with a garret and has a three-bay front that includes a first-floor band. The doorway is located to the left and has a segmental head, a rectangular overlight, and a partially glazed door. To the right, there is an early 20th-century projecting shop window. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes, all with segmental heads.
