Description

This is a late 18th-century water mill, with alterations made in the 20th century. The mill is constructed of red brick in an English garden wall bond, and has a pantile roof with raised brick coped gables. The three-bay front is three stories high, featuring a dentillated brick eaves course. The ground floor has two sliding sash windows with glazing bars; the first floor has three similar windows; and the second floor has three 20th-century louvred lights. A stable door is located in the gable end's ground floor, and the first floor features a 20th-century glazing bar fixed light in what was formerly a door opening. Another blocked doorway with a triangular head is present on the second floor. All window and door openings have segmental heads.
