Description

This section of warehouses, occupied by Wherry and Sons, dates from the late 18th century and is located to the south of the carriage archway on South Street. The building stands three stories tall and is constructed of red brick with a rubble plinth and a slate roof. It features three windows with flush frames and casements under the eaves. On the first floor, there are four segmental arched, four-light casements that flank a loading door. The ground floor has two segmental arched windows on either side of a doorway that has a wooden lintel. The warehouses and No. 30 (The Cedars) are part of a group.
