Description
The Rectory is a building that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 18th century to the mid-19th century. The structure is made of red brick with limestone ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with gable stacks. It has two storeys and a three-bay front. The first floor includes an ashlar band, ashlar quoins, and a moulded eaves cornice with a parapet above.
On the ground floor, there are three large semi-circular headed blind arches, with a glazing bar sash window to the right, which has a wedge lintel and a painted ashlar keystone. To the left, there is a tall, narrow rectangular 19th-century window with glazing bars. Beyond this, there is a 19th-century rectangular bay window that has four lights and a single transom. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes, all featuring wedge lintels and painted ashlar keystones.
