Description
The wall surrounding the garden of Brandon Old Hall and the attached outbuilding dates from the 16th and 18th centuries. It features dark gold and light gold bands of ironstone, along with limestone bands and coursed ironstone rubble, topped with a pantile roof. The wall is connected to the south of Brandon Old Hall, extending east for several yards and then turning north to the outbuilding. The 16th-century west wall is made of dark and light gold banded ironstone with loose rubble on top. The rest of the wall consists of coursed ironstone rubble, which includes five small rectangular openings facing into the garden. The 18th-century outbuilding is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and has a pantile roof, a rectangular doorway, and a dilapidated timber clasped purlin roof with later timbers.
