Description
No 23A on St Martin's, dating from 1671, has undergone significant alterations, and its interior has been largely gutted, although the roof retains characteristics typical of the 17th century. The front features two dressed stone pilasters with 18th-century stone pinnacles on either side, with a modern garage entrance situated beneath a half-timbered upper storey that includes workshop windows. An extension to the south is a two-storey modern building designed in the style of the 18th century, constructed from coursed rubble with stone quoins and featuring one window. Nos 18 to 38 in succession and the Church of St Martin form a group.
