Description
Two barns located to the east of No 28, with one currently serving as a school library, were built in 1671. The larger barn is a long, one-storey structure featuring a high mansard roof covered with stone slates. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has two blind lunettes. The rear of the barn includes four hipped dormers and five modern windows with glazing bars set in stone arches. There is also a modern door and a slight plinth. Adjacent to the larger barn is a smaller barn, now used as a garage, which also has coursed rubble and a pyramidal roof of stone slates. The barns, along with Brazenose College, retaining walls, Brazenose School House, and Nos 30 to 33, form a cohesive group.
