Description
Hall Cottage and the adjoining boundary wall were built around 1770, with an addition made around 1870. The cottage features coursed squared stone and has pantile roofs, with the main roof having sprockets and a coped gable. It is two storeys high and has a total of four windows on the front, arranged as one on the right and three on the left. To the right, there are three wooden cross casements. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, which is flanked on the right by a two-light casement and on the left by two similar casements. All of these openings have wooden lintels. The higher addition to the left includes a margin glazed sash window and a half-glazed door with an overlight and a concrete lintel. The attached boundary wall, made of coursed squared stone, features half-round tile and brick coping and is approximately 70 meters long, enclosing a triangular garden in front of the house.
