Description

The well head, located 5 metres west of Well House (No. 67) in Harlaxton, dates from around 1830 and was restored in the late 20th century. It is made of circular squared stone and features a flat coping. The well head is topped with a gabled pantile roof supported by wooden posts with struts. This structure is likely an architectural garden feature designed in accordance with the principles of Loudon by Gregory Gregory around 1830.
