Description

St. Ives Cross is a 14th-century fragment of a buttressed cross located at the junction of Fisher Gate and Chapel Gate. It is made of ashlar and features a rectangular base with four tiers of battered steps, topped by a plinth and a fragment of a rectangular chamfered shaft that has remains of broach stops. The structure includes three flying buttresses and stands approximately 1 metre high. It is also scheduled as Ancient Monument No. 127.
