Description
Bloodfold House is an early 19th-century house located in Fleet, South Holland. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and some areas of render. The slate roof features stone-coped gables, moulded wooden eaves, and gable stacks. The building has two storeys and three main bays, with an additional single bay set back to the right.
At the base, there is a rendered plinth. The central bay projects slightly and has a hipped roof above it. The central doorway is framed by a broad Doric pilastered doorcase that includes an entablature, moulded cornice, reveal, and a partially glazed and panelled door. On either side of the doorway, there are single glazing bar sashes, with three smaller glazing bar sashes positioned above. All of these windows feature rusticated ashlar lintels and raised keystones. The right bay contains a glazing bar sash with a smaller glazing bar sash above, both of which have cambered heads.
