Description
Yarwood House is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is built of red brick and has corrugated iron roofs, featuring a single ridge and a right gable stack. The gables are brick coped and tumbled. The building is a single storey plus attic and consists of four bays, with the single right bay being gabled. The left three bays have a plain band over the openings, while the right single bay has a dentil band over the opening. The central doorway has a plank door set under a segmental arch. To the right of the doorway is a single plain sash window with a segmental arch, and on the far right is a single 20th-century casement window. The attic features a single gabled dormer with a single sash window. The left gable wall has a single blind glazing bar sash window with a plain sash window above it. The rear range includes a single glazing bar sash window and three similar dormers.
