Description

A tower mill, dating to around 1824 and altered in the 20th century, now converted into a house. The mill is built of red brick with a flat roof featuring a 20th-century flush band along the eaves. It stands six storeys high and has a slight plinth. The window openings are arranged irregularly. On the east side is a doorway with double plank doors and a multi-paned overlight, above which is a plank door. The south-east side has four two-light casements. A blocked doorway on the south side has a 20th-century casement inserted, with a single two-light casement above it. The south-west side features three two-light casements, while the west side has a single two-light casement. The north-west side has three two-light casements, and the north and north-east sides each have two two-light casements. All window and door openings have segmental heads. A 20th-century extension projects from the north side. All original mill machinery has been removed.
