It is constructed of colourwashed red brick and features a slate roof that is hipped to the right, with a brick-coped left gable that includes a gable stack. The building has a single tall lateral stack and dentillated eaves. It is two storeys high and has a three-bay front with a plinth. The central doorway is set within a 20th century gabled porch that is partially glazed and has an inner panelled door.
